About Harvest Labs
Building practical food infrastructure. Together.
Harvest Labs is rooted in a simple idea: local food systems should be accessible, practical, and fair.
We are intentionally designing a space that prioritizes:
- Cost-recovery pricing for producers
- Community education and skill-sharing
- Partner-led and community-led programming
- Long-term sustainability over short-term profit
How Harvest Labs Will Work
Harvest Labs is envisioned as a shared processing and education hub, designed to support preservation, production, and community learning through shared resources and collaborative programming.
- Access to preservation and processing equipment
- Hands-on workshops and demonstrations
- Pilot programs for small producers
- Community and partner led programming
Rather than operating as a traditional commercial facility, Harvest Labs is intentionally designed to grow in phases, allowing programs to develop responsibly and in alignment with real community demand.
A Phased, Intentional Approach
Phase 1 – Planning & Partnerships
Relationship building, program design, and small scale pilots.
Phase 2 – Public Programming
Workshops focused on preservation, fermentation, processing, and food skills.
Phase 3 – Expanded Access & Producer Support
Shared processing access, deeper producer support models, and broader community integration.
This phased approach keeps Harvest Labs responsive, sustainable, and community-driven.
